Are there any entries in your crontab to cause the reboot? Try crontab -l to see what's in there. Post the output here if you need to.

Don't quite understand your gui query.
 
i mean,

U can go in for Big Brother monitoring tool, or Netsaint monitoring tool..

OR, if u just want real time monitoring of solaris resources, SE Toolkit could be good option...

All the above mentioned tools work in GUI mode and they r available free of cost!!!!!!

MAy be in ur cron jobs, some script is running that shuts down the machine after reaching some threshold..

Butterfly's right. I'm using SE toolkit at the moment, and it's a real boon. Only some of the facilities (zoom.se for instance) are GUI-based, though. Cheers.
 
Well, in case you need historical and trend analysis reports also on your Unix box, then u can go in for Netsaint with RRDtools plugin..

It gives excellent historical and trend reports..
