My LazerJet 1200 won't print when connected to docking device

I use an Acer Laptop for my main computer and have most accessories connected through a docking device. The HP All-in-one that is connected with a USB cable works fine but seems to be overriding the Lazer Jet(not USB). The Lazer Jet did work initially but has now stopped. I have tried uninstalling the All-in-one and then tried every port available and still no communication. I have also tried changing the power management setting on the Root Hub as suggested on the HP web-site. It didn't solve the problem. Suggestions??

The HP LJ-1200 will work as either parallel or usb. How about hooking it up with a usb cable instead of a parallel cable and see if that solves the problems? (The side panel that the parallel cable disappears under also hides the usb port.) You can get a usb hub if your docking station does not have enough usb ports.
