My install.cgi doesn

Your Carp.pm may not be installed on the server or Carp.pm may be else where than @INC. if it is second then find out the location of Carp.pm and push the value of location into @INC. I think it will solve ur prob.
 
How about more info, like

* what is the exact error message(s) you are getting?
* what OS are you running on?
* if it's a cgi script, what web server software are you
using? What version?
* what version of perl are you running on?
get this by doing "perl -v" at the command prompt.

and anything else you think might be helpful in troubleshooting your problem.
