Hi,
We are in the process of evaluating MOSS 2007, and we're taking the approach of having a sort of "dashboard" / Outlook today type style home page. We are going to initially turn off the My Site until we are ready to roll that out.
The problem I have encountered (and had this with Sharepoint 2003) is that I'd like to place a My Inbox or My Tasks web part on the home page which shows the currently logged in user's mail or tasks. But it appears that you can't automatically populate the mailbox field with the currently logged on username. At the moment it looks like you'd need to get the user to go and open the tool box pane and get them to fill their username in, which isn't obviously ideal... is there a way around this?
cheers
