Two of my users have managed to move thier inbox beneath another directory - one being the deleted items folder. I am unable to move the inbox back to it's original location through Outlook 2000. I receive a message to the effect that - Inbox is a system folder and cannot be moved. Which raises the interesting question of how it was moved in the first place.

I have attempted the following:

1) using the "resetfolders" switch when starting Outlook.
2) connecting to the mailbox with the old Exchange client to attempting to move it.
3) restoring the inbox and redirecting it to the root folder.

I've also searched MS Knowledgebase all to no avail. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Chris

Just try re-installing outlook, and select the repair option and see what happens. Glen A. Johnson

I forgot to mention that the users are accessing Outlook in a Citrix environment. These users have the same issue regardless of how the mailbox is accessed - via Citrix or the standard way.
