My friend has been hacked

I am a regular user of the chat - Paltalk. I have a friend on there who has been hacked. She was in the chatroom when someone came in with her name. She has recently noticed files missing and files downloaded on her system. Could someone shed some light on this please?

This is quite general of a request. There are a plethora of ways to be compromised. A worm, backdoor, script kit, ...

We need more specifics in order to help out.

These effects may be typical for a Backdoor.

I guess there is something like Backdoor orifice or Backdoor G (Sub7)

But that is only an assumption. Disconnect the Computer from the net and run a Scan with actual Definitions.

If the computer is compromised and there are important Data like Passphrases for Online Banking .... think about that these Data may have been stolen.
