When I run a report and it comes up on the screen, everything looks fine. But when I print it off on the printer, my font gets bigger. Has this ever happend to anyone? Before it worked fine and now it does not. I have the font to ARIAL size 9.

Here are some other questions that other people have been asking.....

What version of Crystal Reports?
->Crystal Reports 8.5 Professional.

Are you using the most up-to-date print driver?
->Yes.

Are you printing directly from Crystal Reports or from Crystal Enterprise or an application?
(If not from Crystal Reports, do you get the same result when printing directly from Crystal Reports?)
->Directly from Crystal.
->"Before it worked fine and now it does not."

->"Before it worked fine and now it does not."
Before what? What has changed? (Since it sounds like you are printing straight from crystal.)

Perhaps the font is missing or has changed on the system that's running the report?

Or perhaps the printer has changed?

Was the report worked on using CR 7?

Text Compatibility Option in File->Options:

If you select this check box and then open a report created in Crystal Reports 7, the font size of each text object in the report is decreased by 90%. If you save the report in version 7 format, the font sizes are increased again. This option helps minimize the difference between the text formatting functionality of Crystal Reports 7 and the improved functionality of Crystal Reports 8.

I've had problems with print size changing, even though all my reports are Crystal 8.5 and we use a very ordinary printer. It's never been a serious problem, just something than needs trial-and-error testing before the report can be completed.

I am not sure that anything has changed. But now since I shut down the printer and restarted it, the printing works fine. Strange but simple...

It was because of the lunar eclipse. Certain printers had to be restarted because of the effect of the lunar light bend in combination with spring thunderstorm activity..

Sorry.. been one of those kinds of days...
