My firm is locking down the "C" drive not giving new employees local admin rights. My split databases have the front-end on "C" with the back end on the network. Does anyone else have an issue like this?
I dont want them telling me that I cannot develop split databases....
is there another way....

Why not have the FE in the MyDocuments folder ?
