Ok tearing my hair out completey..

Have a conference table
and a conference info table

i have two fields from the 'INFO' table linked to the original two fields in the 'Conference' table

one is a date field and the another is text field

I have created a query of the 'Conference' table and the date field and the name field are appearing as numbers instead of names or dates as they should be appearing

I enclose a pic of this.

I'm sure this is simple and I've had it before but right now I can't work out why it's not displaying it right. When I look at the query in 'query' mode. It displays correct. But as soon as I output it to a list box it displays numbers instead of text or dates.

do you have an "autonumber field" that corresponds to these fields??

Solved by removing lookup tabled fields and made proper relationship between the two tables. This solved the problem. Why it worked in the query but not in the listbox is strange for me. But essentially lookup tabled fields are a waste of time.
Thanks for you help
