my excel datasheet all of a sudden converted to a chart

A strange situation. I have an excel sheet which I use to manage my contacts(name, phones and faxes) in a good tabular form.

All of a sudden whenever I open the file, a strange chart is all I get.

I tried to replace the file with a copy I keep, yet no result.Seems like excel is misbehaving

What can I do?
