well its taken me a while but its finally finished. It started as a kind of joke thing but then I used it to teach myself a bit more about asp and javascript.

It is purposly simple as it is meant to be a retreat from the chaos of the net these days.

So take a break...have a doodle...and tell me what you think!

cheers,

Very cool. What about creating an eraser or make it so that it only shows the dots when you click and hold so that you can lift the cursor and not have a trail.

Great Job [thumbsup2]

actually i liked the 'tricky' way it had of drawing - you can fool it into not drawing by holding down the mouse button while you move (doesn't draw while its in drag mode). Nice to have hidden ways to do things like this - can get people interested in HOW some person was able to do doodle12..

was this built into the design or just a side affect of onMouseOver (or whatever you used for the pad)?

thanks for the feedback guys! Glad it amused a little.

SPYDERIX - I have thought about the eraser for it and I will probably put that in there soon. I also thought about a button to "negative" it....turning the light grey boxes to dark grey and vice versa...though its going to some tricky javascript!

Also with the trail thing... I think clarkin had the right idea with holding down the mouse. Its takes a few goes to get it right.

Clarkin - I would love to take the credit for building the no draw when draging into the design...but yeah its just a very fortunate perk of onMouseover!

NB...the database connection has gone down....the joys of using free hosting!!
