my DFM does not work??

Hi All,

I installed DFM 2.0 with ciscoworks 2000.
I can see all devices in DFM but all the devices status are always learning -> never change. and the progress is always 10%

What's wrong ?

Hi,

There have been a few bugs in this area of DFM. Have you loaded the latest CiscoWorks patches ? They have fixed most of the DFM import issues.

This is no easy problem. A 10% devices stuck on learning state is the startup process. The devices have not been handed over to the incharge processes yet.
Check out if DfmServer and DfmBroker processes are running using pdshow command
Check out if there are multiple instances of brstart and sm_server. In Windows seeing two instances of each process is expected.
Sometimes a server reboot will do the trick.
brcontrol script is your best aly when troubleshooting these errors. Best bet is that you get TAC on the phone.
