Hope somebody can help with this. For the past year or so I have been connecting my digital camera via USB 2.0 to upload photos etc.. This has not caused a problem before and it correctly creates a removable drive volume F: each time its connected, which I can then access its folders under.
I have recently plugged another device into another USB port (Ipod Mini) which the PC now allocates drive F: to, (fair enough). However when I also connect my camera up, it does create a new volume G: but it does not show up in my computer or explorer so that I can access it. I know that its connected and associated with that drive letter as if you click on the uplug/stop devices icon it appears in there as G:
Why does this not appear in the my computer window - is there a setting on 2000 i've missed - I've checked most things but to no avail - any help appreciated.
