My computer, a AMD XP 1700 running 512 ram and an 32 GeForce2 MX 400 seems to start to freeze all the time. I has worked fine until it started to heat up in Calgary, and its seems to really heat up in my room. I have a feeling that the computer is over heating and I really need to figure out how to fix this problem.

I have the same problem with a AMD XP 2200+ with 1gig of RAM. I plan on getting a better CPU cooling fan and another 80mm case fan to get a good air flow going through the Case.

Take the case side off and direct cooling air into the case with a fan and check to see if things improve. If so check the heatsink. Also, if you have a cpu temp checker in the BIOS see what the temp is when it starts to fail.
