I started up my computer the other day after being away for a couple of days (the computer was off while I was away) and when I tried to start it the monitor wasn't turned on. I put in a new graphics card and checked my bios to see if the system was running hot or anything and noticed that next to the 12V there was a .086. Well I decided to try my Radeon 9600 (the original graphics card that was in it) and now the computer appears to be working fine again. The Bios still has a 0 for the 12V. The wires are still plugged into the motherboard well. Any idea what could be wrong?
Thanks

Perhaps a faulty/damaged motherboard sensor? If it works fine, then that's the most probable cause.

Shouldn't have to worry about overheating if you are using no energy[smile]. As DragonQ0105 says if it works don't sweat it.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I just wanted someone to reassure me.
Thanks
