Don't know about SBS editions but I see you are trying to backup Exchange and SQLServer, I assume you have purchased the agent software for these applications.

-------------------------------

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

Is there a system account associated with backing-up SQL and Exchange ??? If so, has this account and/or password changed ??

close BE, stop all BE related services. rename BEWINUI.UNI TO BEWINUI.OLD. Restart BE services and BE and try backing up.

The problem with SQL Server is that the databases are set for SIMPLE recovery mode. You CANNOT do a log backup when the database is set for SIMPLE. MASTER and MSDB cannot be set for FULL.

You didn't say which version of SQL Server you are using, so hopefully this helps...

Open Enterprise Manager, expand down to the databases, right click on your database and select Properties. Go to the Options tab. Look at what RECOVERY MODE: is set as. Change it to FULL.
