Hi, this is a "slightly" commercial posting.

I have a tiny vector drawing app called EVE, that
exports to SVG. (it costs $5, there's also a freeware version)
I have recently added quasi-reatime display of SVG
while working in the GUI environment. I want to know
how to take this in the future, so that it suits
developers.

The feature is described in my online manual:

The realtime display window also allows insertion of
custom code, and this is the particular feature that
I want to know how to further develop.
For example, how best to insert custom Javascript.
This first attempt is elegant, and I would like it to
do more, retaining that simplicity and elegance.

A further point of clarification, as someone might
"red flag" my posting!

The concept I'm asking about is fully described in the User Manual. I'm just asking anyone interested in SVG to look at that and maybe give me suggestions about the idea and how I might develop it.
I'm somewhat unclear how to further develop insertion of custom code to cater for integration of SVG into other environments. There are huge areas I have minimal knowledge about, including CSS, ECMAscript, DOM, etc.

The primary choice for scripting a MS Windows application is to use the MS Scripting engine.

This question belongs in the language forum that your application is developed in.
