Hi there,

I developed a database in office 2003 which i use for my project. However,im now trying to edit my reports, and it is telling me that i cant as i'm in a replica, and need to be in the design master.

i never asked to make this database a replica, although i suspect it happened when i stupidly said yes to a box whilst using Miscrosoft Breifcase to sync my files to my file server.

now all the icons on the database forms, tbles, reports etc have a little yellow arrowed circle - any new forms dont.

Along the top of my database it tells me its in 2000 format and is a replica!

Help, i dnt want it to be a replica!!! I want to edit my reports....

many thanks,

Neil

I found this in the Help files:

Make a replica the new Design Master[ol]
[li]Make sure that neither the replica nor the current Design Master is in use elsewhere.[/li]
[li]Open the replica that you want to make the new Design Master. [/li]
[li]On the Tools menu, point to Replication, and then click Synchronize Now.[/li]
[li]Select the current Design Master as the member to synchronize with.[/li]
[li]Check the Make 'Filename' The Design Master check box.[/li]
[li]Click OK[/li][/ol]

Hope this helps,
