I want to instead of md110 with Mxone. how i have to do?
Have to keep old numbers but don't change those numbers.
Brs!

Hi

There is not enough space or time on a forum to discuss all the details needed for the migration from TSW/MD110 to MX-One, it is a big question, and there are some barriers to implementing even if we could help on something that large.

You need to get licensing from Mitel. They have a migration program which allows more competitive pricing than a new install. You also clearly need guidance on the best way to migrate dependent on what you are moving from and to, it's not a single solution for all.

You need to contact your local Mitel office in your country who can assist or point you to a Mitel Partner who can assist, you can't do it alone - the main reason even if technically you cann design and implement the solution is - no Mitel licenses, system will not work, you need to get them transferred to MX-One. Only Mitel or a Mitel Partner can do that - the fact you ask about cards and cables for MX-One shows you need help from these people,

Dear Parnum!
Many thanks for your idea!
The fact i want to suggest SOLUTION that migration from MD to MXone in my office.
I connected MD anh MXone with R2 or Qsig signalling. And both of connection is OK.
I have a question: MD has got only 2500 DEST ( Dynatext document reference ). But i want to sent many RODDI command ( > 2500 line )
How i have to do?
Brs!

2500+ dest?
You are trying to connect all of your mobile phones to a different dest? Not a very good idea (if you have any). But, using LCR/DNT tables in MD you can get 5000 (+5000 more, if clever) dest tables. Of course, if you are trying to get a dest teble of more than 1 million (xxxxxx +1), then even MX-One or MX-2 or MX-x cannot help. You have to be reasonable with your conf, not creating funny destinations making the PBX also going crazy...

Hi

you usually set up DESTs with a range rather than each number

e.g.

NOT

RODDI:DEST=5555,ROU=X....;
RODDI:DEST=5556,ROU=X....;
RODDI:DEST=5557,ROU=X....;

BUT

RODDI:DEST=555,ROU=x,....;
or
RODDI:DEST=55,ROU=x,....;

and set ADC dig 1=1 in the DEST for block dialling
and minumum number length as 4 in NANLS on the MD110

If you want something more specific you have to give more info with an example of what you want to do.

Dear Parnum!
Many thank you.
I set up DESTS with each number on MD110 as below:
1. RODDI:DEST=55555, ROU=X,...;
2. RODDI:DEST=55554,ROU=X,....;
....
2500. RODDI:DEST=66661,ROU=X,....;
These DESTS are MX-ONE's extensions. MD110 connect to MX-ONE with rou=X. Before, These Dests are Extensions of MD110.
Because i want to keep old number when migration from md110 to Mxone thus i need more than 2500 dest command ( more than 2500 subcribers in md110 system).
How i have to do?
Brs!

Hi

Read my message again, you do not setup DESTs for each number but for number ranges, you need only 37 DEST codes for your 2500 number range above

RODDI:DEST=55555
RODDI:DEST=55556
RODDI:DEST=55557
RODDI:DEST=55558
RODDI:DEST=55559
RODDI:DEST=5556
RODDI:DEST=5557
RODDI:DEST=5558
RODDI:DEST=5559
RODDI:DEST=556
RODDI:DEST=557
RODDI:DEST=558
RODDI:DEST=559
RODDI:DEST=56
RODDI:DEST=57
RODDI:DEST=58
RODDI:DEST=59
RODDI:DEST=60
RODDI:DEST=61
RODDI:DEST=62
RODDI:DEST=63
RODDI:DEST=64
RODDI:DEST=65
RODDI:DEST=660
RODDI:DEST=661
RODDI:DEST=662
RODDI:DEST=663
RODDI:DEST=664
RODDI:DEST=665
RODDI:DEST=6660
RODDI:DEST=6661
RODDI:DEST=6662
RODDI:DEST=6663
RODDI:DEST=6664
RODDI:DEST=6665
RODDI:DEST=66660
RODDI:DEST=66661

Hi
I understand your idea!
But I can't setup a range number as you say.
Because there are many extension numbers in a range number but they belongs to different geographic areas!
For example: 55558 number is still extension of MD (Zone2), but 55557, 55559... number is extension of Mx-one (MD connect to MXONE at Zone2) and they are dest of MD (ZONE1). Zones connect to Zone1 with PCM links. Thus not allow setup a range number.
and let me know: how many analog,digital and isdn extension are there in MX-One system? how many Dest command in Mx-one? I know only alitle about MX-ONE.
Brs!

Hi,

you can see the systems license file where you can find how many Digital and Analogue you can use in your system by command

license_status

Many thanks YZeglam!
Please hep me, I only know LIDAP command to view license file.
what commands can i see my system license file?
AND
how many NANSE Commands and how many NANSI commands are there in my MD110 system? when i settup number by number, not in range number.

For exambe, I settup as below:
NANSE:NUMTYP=EX,NUMSE=40000;
NANSE:NUMTYP=EX,NUMSE=40002;
NANSE:NUMTYP=EX,NUMSE=40004;
...
NANSE:NUMTYP=EX,NUMSE=49998;

After I settup:
NANSI:NUMTYP=ED,NUMSE=40000;
NANSI:NUMTYP=ED,NUMSE=40002;
NANSI:NUMTYP=ED,NUMSE=40004;
...
NANSI:NUMTYP=ED,NUMSE=49998;

So, how many command lines dose MD110 allow?
Does anyone try it?
Please have me some ideas!

Tks & Brs!

For NAP (number analysis) you have 17000 records. The issue is with your DEST table (as described before), there are 2500 records. You need to squeeze that table in order to get this working.
