I'm making a swf that has this strange font so i'm dynamic texting it so that the font remains on views who don't have that particular font. My question:
of the four pages i have to make, is there some way to use a "localized font" instead of dynamic texting it for each one, the file size is large for each one cause of the dynamic, and am wishing to cut down file size... so can it be set up so that the embedded font only needs to be donwloaded just once for all swfs in same folder on server.

With static text, the font outlines are automatically embedded. With dynamic text, the default is that the font is not embedded, and you have to manually embed it to make sure all will see the same non-standard font. So dynamic texting itself doesn't ensure the font will be seen. It's the fact that you embed it, that will.
That said, the answer to your question is basically no.
If you got into a shared library, and made sure that the library was imported in each .swf, then maybe... But this is all easier said than done.
If you don't need the full character set, then you could only embed the needed ones, thus reducing the size raise.
