Anyone have information about the softswitch of mx-one ? tech info links ?

I found one interesting sentence:

As a first step, the MX-ONE Telephony System 1.0 is integrated as part of an existing MD110 network.

Does this imply that the MX-ONE is more of a pilot project for Ericsson in the enterprise softswitch businessarea.

Sure it is version 1 ....

Hi

MX-ONE - The One you have been waiting for...

We are proud to launch a new powerful server-based communication system, purely based on IP. It's a multi convergence solution combining voice, data and mobility. It's open, it's scalable, future-proof and cost effective, but must importantly, it is designed with existing MD110 customers in mind.
It's called MX-ONE and we strongly believe it's the One you want.
The major building block of the MX-ONE platform, which we are launching now, is the telephony engine that we call the MX-ONE Telephony System 1.0. This first release is supported by existing management system and end-user applications from the MD110. The rest of the building blocks in MX-ONE, being launched in 2005, consist of applications like Unified Messaging, Preference Management applications and speech tools. The MX-ONE platform will, in 2005, be managed by MX-ONE Manager. In this first release we target the following markets: Sweden, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Denmark and Austria.

So now our MD110 customers can take the first step in evolving to MX-ONE
Regards

When was it launched ? Early 2004 ?

Is it the Ericsson CA,Brea PDU who is responsible for the this product ?

It was released this a month a go. Today in a technical view it has the same functions as MD and can act as a branch node in the network. Though it is limited to IP extensions (on the extension side) and IP or ISDN 30B+D on the trunk side. It's devloped in stockholm. The rest that is to come is the replacement of DNA (the management part) this is devloped in brea.

Any commercial customer installations by now ?

Damovo Belgium : Are EU parliament going for this new platform ?
