Help!! :-0
Has anybody come across any issues with the system clock.
(Its a real pain in the butt!!)
I understand the linux clock is set in yast and you have the option to use NTP svr. Even though NTP is configured, and you can test this successfully, it doesnt seem to be using the NTP server time.
The time zone set correctly, the clock is correct when using the 'DATE' command (digital extns show correct time) but IP phones are 10 hours out. I have commented out the time and NTP settings in the config file, to no avail.
If i change the time to 'Global - UTC' this corrects the time on IP phones but throws the digitals out by 10 hours.
I am looking at rebooting the server. Unless anybody has any other suggestions?
Many thanks
Saff!

I always do my settings via yast.

don't forget do to a system -restart (or /etc/init.d/eri_sn restart) when fiddling with the system clock.

Oh ok, i changed the time on a few systems in the past without having to restart the system.
But my next step was to reload the system, if you think a restart may resolve it i'll try that first.
The Linux clock seems to have got its self out of synch, although the digitals pick it up ok....strange!!

Anyway cheers!
Saf.
