MWLP not working on Magix 1.5 1

Magix 1.5 with 4424D's and Merlin Messaging R1.19. I have one extension that refuses to lite the message waiting lamp when a vm is left for this user. I tried a different phone(which I am positive that that lamp works) and it still will not lite. I can make it lite with #53, so I know that the light works, atleast. I have taken her out of and put her back into coverage group. I have done the system wide MWLP clear/refresh several times, yet to no avail. I have unplugged and replugged and now I'm stuck! Someone suggested using MONITOR but I'm not real sure what is going on in there. I have not deleted and re-created the mbox yet. That seems like a last resort function. Thanks in advance.

Did you happen to try the 989reset on the Merlin Messaging. Sometimes that can clear out little glitches such as yours. Just login to the system admin mailbox. Press 9. Then dial 98973738 or 989reset. The system will say,"the system will be reset, all programming will be retained." I do this if I am having quirky issues.

Make sure the Mail Box is set to:

Extension XXX Has a Phone.

Other wise, Messaging won't bother to light a MWL.

Both are excellent ideas and I should have tried 989reset, cuz that has been a beaut in the past at times, however I would not have thought to check the phone status and I just dialed in and Merlin Man is correct again.....I think. At least the mailbox was set to "Has No Phone", so I changed it and left her a message to call with the outcome on Friday. Merlin Man, sometimes I wish I wasn't me, so I could be you. I have actually called you out of the blue couple of times, and you have solved my problem each and every time and I appreciate that. Thank you.
