We just installed a t-1 from hospital-a to hospital-b. Hospital-b had a t-1 going to our data center which we took out. Everything is working using 5 digit dialing but the message light doesn't work. I noticed in the rcap in one of the d-channels is mwi and the one is msdl. Our call pilot server is at our data center. Hospital-b is tied with hospital-a then is routed thru a t-1 to our data center for voice mail. Any suggestions. Thanks

MWI at both ends and the PNI in the RDB must match also.

as well as the rls needs to be right on the pri and if the rls is 3 or above the pni goes into the cdb as well as on the route... are the scr/mcr keys 5 digits or is the 1st digit a steering code? .. that can kill a msg lamp as well.. we have several sites working via one cp, not all are nortel but msg lamps work without a problem..

between my 81c rls 3 and a opt 11 rls 25 we have lamps working with this (almost) default d
