Is there a message waiting indication setting on the BCM? We have the Call pilot voice mail set up and the 731 sets have a light, but I get no indication of a message nor do I see where to turn that on.

In callpilot go to mailbox then change and see if MWI is set to on.

it is on but there are no indications, thats why i was wondering if there was a setting on the BCM itself that had to be changed.

Have you tried F980 and send a message to the phone, it should say message for you.

That worked, but it didn't when the secretary came in, she had 3 voicemails but no indication. weird.

Is this a stand alone BCM or networked. Are you using NVM or CP mailboxes.

So, if a call comes in from outside and they leave a message it does not leave msg notification, but you can send a message and it displays fine. Is this sometimes or everytime.

I have to test to see if it is happening everytime, I know it was this was for 2 people this morning. The system has only been installed for a week so no history of problems yet.

I would do a little more testing and verifiy whats going on.
Question for you. Are you planning on networking your BCM to an M1, just wondering why your using CP mailboxes versus
NVM on the callpilot if it is a stand alone.

No planning on networking. Most people in the office are used to Call Pilot interface/commands from an option 11 we had in our old office, so we just set it up this way. No other reason really.

Cool, I will dig into this a little more, I remember reading something about CP mailboxes and missed messages and I will look for that.

I did some testing, now it seems like most phones are not redirecting to VM, it just rings. THe Vm is working fine, we have a menu tree that is working with no isses. I think this is possessed lol

Is CFNA and CFB set to the VM dn on all sets that have voicemail?
