Good morning (or whatever time if day it is for you) all.
While I am extremely proficient with MAC work on my Aria 250 3.10.8-1, I can't say I know any more then that.

Recently we had to take the Octel down to move the power over to a new circuit and UPS. It has created an issue with MWI where people who had new messages had MWI go out and it is not notifying them of new messages. The Octel is connected to a Nortel 81c so I have just been using MIK and MCK keys to reset lights but it seems to be alot more users with the same problem.

My question, is there a global fix within Octel to resend MWI to people who have messages with no indication and will it affect people that don't have a problem.

yeah I'm a little long winded... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Ken!

Will this affect all users (all MWI's will go on) or just the ones who have messages without MWI?

that routine will only send the MWI-on for those who have new, unheard messages in their mailbox

Thanks jml

If I do this during the day will it tie up all the MWI ports or should I wait till end of day?

I would do it as soon as you can, regardless of traffic. Get your users back to normal before they become irate

Yes it will tie up the MWI port, but it wont last very long and should not have MWI delays.
