MWI on Toshiba DK96

Customer has an old DK96 and I installed a new 4 port Contact DK. MWI works most of the time. Any suggestions to make it more reliable? Lights don't always light when new messages arrive!!

specify the last vm port to do the mwl activations in the vm programming, and then set the hunt for vm ports to start from the other end using that last port only as a last resort in the dkp6 programming. the other option, if this does not help is to take the last port out of the incoming vm hunt group, so it does only mwl notifies, and pager notifies, etc. this is probably a collision of the vm port going off hook for notification/paging, and incoming call to the vm coming in at the same time. the dk96 is a bit old, and it does not integrate with vm as well as some newer ones.
