Multiple appearance DNs where the DN does not appear on key 0 (like in the ACD set above) can cause problems with Message Waiting Lights. If the DN didn't appear somewhere else, the system would know what light to turn off, but when it isn't on Key 0, it doesn't know which lamp to unlight, and it is possible that it could light one phone and actually send the message to turn the indicator off to the other one depending on where the pointer in the database is at the time the message goes out.

have you checked mail to see if any of the dn's have a mwi as an ext on another box, if 1113 or 1108 might show up as a mwi on another box, that would do it.. for some reason i do not have trouble with xmwk lamps that are not key 0 anywhere.. several others do but i use them, like yourself for my acd agents.. give ivr x interuptable, so that calls in que can option out to a mb.. the lamp (overhead) lights on all agents phone.. agents with low priotity, (calls over 4 minutes) are task to keep that light off..

I had a similar problem but without the an ACD phone. I was dealing with an Octel voicemail system. Here is the scenario: The manager had her phone with voicemail and so did her assistant. However, the manager requested that whenever she got a voicemail message, the light on her assistants phone should illuminate. With Octel (and I am sure others), there is a field for that, where a message is left on one DN and but another MWK on another phone/DN is illuminated.

Hope it helps.

P.S I think you can run a report to see what ext. illuminated what phone.
