MWI light on one phone for two different voicemail boxes

I have the MWI set on two different voicemail boxes pointing back to the same phone/handset. Let's call them 1111 and 2222. If a message is left at either 1111 or 2222, the phone's message lamp lights up. However, if the user logs into 1111's voicemail, the light goes away, even if there are new/unheard messages in the 2222 voicemail box. Is there any way to prevent this and keep the light on as long as their are new/unheard messags in either voicemail box or does MWI not have this capability?

if this is a digital set give each mailbox there own message waiting key.

Use the Extended Message Waiting indication Key feature.
