Working w/ a Legend R6.1 and Intuity Audix R4. The recurring issue that I have been fighting is that for whatever reason, ext. 464 does NOT get a MWI when a message is left. This is an analog extension (8110 phone).

What I have tried so far...
Replaced phone

Deleted and re-added subscriber from Audix

Moved this ext. to a different port, on a different module, in a different carrier on the Merlin Legend.

Compared the station setup to a working one. No differences were found.

I really don't know where else to look for trouble on this one. No other phone (analog or MLX) in the entire switch is having an issue, it's just always this one. Once I get it to work, it seems to be good for about 10 days and then it stops working again.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Ok, had IT person dial F53 464 using an MLX phone. Did not light the MWI.

I had a similar one a few weeks back. Sadly, I have lost my notes.

As I recall, I could look at it, and the System DID NOT SEE that the MWL was turned on, no matter what.

To my best recollection, we did a board renumber and that fixed it.

But, don't be surprised if that doesn't clear it up. After all, it is an 8110.

Good luck......

Thanks mm. I'll give that a try and see what I get.

Well, tried the board renum today and no luck, as you said I was not surprised. If you can think of any other obscure things to try, I'm all ears.

Oh, and one correction to the original post, this Legend is an R3.0, not the R6. I was thinking of a different cust.

I would test my touch-tone receivers.
Just a thought.

Yes, they have quite a few 8110's that work fine. I guess I'll dial in and pull down station info on a working one, and that of the defective one do the stare-and-compare.

#53 then ext turns mwi light on from a mlx station, #* ext number turns it off for testing
