MWI for Modular Messaging

I was wondering if anyone has done this successfully. I have a Avaya CM 2.2 with remote sites on CCM 4.1 we have both systems connected to Modular Messaging 2.0. Calls made to the CCM are routing into the voicemail just fine but we can not seem to get the Cisco Phones to active the MWI light. The MAS shows the light is on. I have checked white papers and can't get it to work. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you.
