MWI does not stay lit BCM400

What other program could make outlook tag messages as read with unified messaging. Google tool bar is not installed. Any help will be appreciated.

Having the preview pane turned on will turn of the MWI.

There is an add on that one of our customers found on his email that caused the same problem. I can't remember what the add on is called.

Check to see if you have Business Contact Manager (a program installed with Office 2003/2007). If so, remove it.

If that doesn't fix it, Google toolbar has been known to cause this issue as well.

Can you tell me more specifically about the Preview Pane solution. What did you do turn it off? Change the way the preview pane worked?
