I have several people complaining about the delay for the indicator compared to when the message was left. Sometimes the complaints range from 5 minutes to 2 hours. We are using Q-Sig for the T1 and MWI and those that are complaining are located in the same facility as the MSS and MAS.

Any suggestions?

MM 2.0 CM 2.1.1 S8500

Thanks,

Joe

Yes... The odd thing is that it is only affecting a couple of people. And all the of the COS' and settings are the same?!?

You may need to rebuild the MWI database or the FEDB. How many MAS's and are all of the service running on the same server?

I would suggest to check the timing parameters. confiure only one user. The MWI parameters and set them according to documentation. Check the number of ports/session avaialble to send the MWI light to the user. If it only one then it may be issue.

I am not afraid to fail, but I cannot afford to lose.

Have you looked at the subscriber options for the users that are having this problem?

Check the MWI and see what it is set for.
