MWI Centralized Voicemail CS1k to BCM 450 via SIP Trunks

Wondering if there was anyone that can point me in the right direction.

I am working with a BCM 450 and CS1K RlS 5, and I have all the pre - requesits programmed for the cs1k and 450.

1. 450 to CS1K - ext. to ext dialing both ways via sip - ok
2. 450 to CS1K - DID dialing via sip both ways - ok
3. 450 ext. voicemail box created and active on the callpilot of the CS1K
4. 450 ext. can FNA after 4 rings to Callpilot via CS1K

MCDN Keycode - has been applied
CP DN has also been applied to Message Center options
Exteranal autodial 450 PBX VM DN (7000) ok - Login confirmed

1. Also are there any other changes that must be configured in Message center?

2. I am having a problem with CS1K CP not able to dial out to 450 any 450 DN's, is there any place I should be looking to correct and or reconfigure CP call routing for this new 450 PBX? not too familiar with CS1K CP R5.

Note - 2200 text DN for 450 PBX.


What I would like to know is -

1. How do I get the MWI on the 450 when a voicemail is recieved?


Any assistance on this would be very helpful thank you in advance.

Is your PNI the same at both ends? If you can call then the MWI will go through.

Prior to my post the PNI has been set correctly - Both sites are set to 1, any other suggestions or something that I may have overlooked?

How is the dial plan set up? CDP or UDP?

Dailing plan Has been set on both the CS1K and 450 as CDP with 4 digit DN's.
