Hi,

When I do

mvsetup
a
r
<pick a point>
<enter the degree of rotation>

How can I determine what's the correct choice for the <enter the degree of rotation>? I mean I've something in the diagonal and I want to put it on the horizontal. How can I know the correct angle?

I cannot use the tool "reference" that it's available in the model space.

To set desired UCS rotation in a viewport you can restore a saved UCS. And in creating that UCS you can align it with an object. (UCS>>New>>OBject)
