We have a problem with MQPUT of MAX message length. We run short of storage when a common routine is invoked simultaneously for writing to MQ. To resolve this issue the only way is to segment the message so that we use minimum storage. Do any one have example of this?

Thanks

MQ message segmentation is not supported on MVS. It may be that you can split your own message and reconstruct it yourself, but MQ isn't going to do it for you it appears.

Are you sure your common routine isn't the root cause of the problem? It sounds a little suspicious that it is when the routine is called simlutaneously. Is it re-enterant?
