First off... I am very New to the Netgear world....I was able to setup the Firewall/router and got it working without any issues so far.

However we have a pool of 5 External Static IP's (from ISP) and we want to use one of those IP's for a specific Web Server.

We have already used one IP address for Outlook Web Access, which is the same External IP for the Internet access.

I need now to use the second External IP for web server.

How do I set it up on this Netgear.... I have been trying to find info on it and keep getting more confused.

Thanks

Hi,

Are you using a Netgear or a Netscreen?

Rgds,

John

Please accept the correction. It is a NETSCREEN.

Thanks

Steve

Under the untrusted interface check your subnet mask is set to include your external IP range. then add a 'MIP' This is also unde rthe untrusted interface. This allows you to map an external IP to an internal one.

You then need to set up a policy to allow the traffic you want in. IE, from untrust to trust, allow traffic from anywhere to MIP1, on port 80.
