I've got an swf that I want to put up on my site, but I don't want its sound to play when users go to the page. Unfortunately, I don't have the fla source, so I can't disable the sound that way. I was wondering if there is some sort of object param for Flash objects that can control the audio in html? Anyone know?

Thanks in advance!

If you don't have the .fla, and don't have a decompiler to check out how the sound is coded, your only way out will be to load this external movie into a new one, and mute the sound from the new movie in which it is loaded.

Using a soundobject to mute the level or the container clip you will have loaded this sound .swf in.
