mute on trough short code

hi
is possible to put in mute an analogue telephone without a mute button,trough a short code?

!What would be the point. In order to dial the short code you would have to put the call on hold, so why not use hold as the analog equivalent of mute. If you have 'busy on held' enabled you won't get any other incoming call ringing.
