Mute Incoming Ringing Call:

Other than setting a line to an SCN, is there a way to mute an incoming call on a Nortel M3904 with Succesion 3.0? Yes, wth MSB Key could be used prior....any ideas? Thanks.

The easiest way I have found is to take the phone off hook, then it just buzzes once.

MSB could be used prior, and it works the same today. Just make a second appearance of the DN so it does not look "busy". It will then just flash.

You can also use CFW to another phone.

Not what you want to hear but this functionality is available on IP Phones with CS 1000 7.0. "The Deflect key feature is intended to deflect a call to voice mail or to another DN when the user does not want to answer the call and does not want to wait until Call Forward No Answer
processes the incoming call.
