Is it possible to program a button on a 2000 series set that only mutes my voice? The reason for this is that when I hold a conference call, my background noise and the attendees' background noise makes it difficult to hear who is talking.

ONLY IF IT'S A HANDSFREE SPEAKER PHONE, IF YOU HAVE A GOOD TECH AROUND HE MAY BE ABLE TO INSTALL A SWITCH ACROSS THE MOUTHPIECE PART IN THE NETWORK OF THE PHONE

you don't programm the button though - you assign hfa in the class of service and on a 2616 key 15 becomes a handsfree/mute key, key 6 on a 2008. make sure there is nothing programmed on those keys.

press it once - its handsfree. press it again it's handsfree mute and the arrow will flash

Thanks a lot. I guess I might have found that in the user manual if I had looked hard enough. Works great, thanks again.
