Mute Button for 2008

How do you setup a mute button for a 2008? I have it programmed for handsfree "HFA". Would like to be able to mute when needed. Thanks for the help.

The M2008 does not have a mute key as there is no microphone fitted in the set. Hands free dialling is the only feature this set type allows. you will need to use a different digital phone,,maybe a 3820...

Correction, we do have the 2008's that does have handsfree mic. builtin.

If you have the 2008 HF phone and you add HFA to the CLS, the Handsfree/Mute button is automatically programmed on key 6. Be sure that nothing is programmed on Key 6 and it will work.
