Mute button always on

I have a Vodavi XTS system with Infinite DVX+ phones. I have one extension that has a mute button problem.

When someone tries to call this extension on intercom, when the phone is answered, the mute button is on. They have to turn the mute button off before they can talk. Is there something programmed wrong here?

Have you received an answer to this question?

If not, try the "HTP" button and put the phone into Handsfree mode. Right now it sounds like it is in privacy mode. The 3 modes are: Handsfree = automatic speakerphone on intercom calls; Tone= ringing on intercom calls; Privacy = speakerphone with privacy enabled on intercom calls. The privacy mode could be used by a person who might be in a meeting and allow the intercom calls to come in, but the office conversation not be heard by the calling party.
