Hello folks,

We are trying to remove a analog card from a media gateway that has been removed physically to remove the media gateway, but we are receiving the error "must remove translation on all modules before removing the media gateway".

I have tried to find a work around to remove it but I was not able to find it, is there a way to remove the port from the phone system to be able to remove the media gateway?

Please any assistance will be appreciate.
Regards

what module? if it's 1v1 for example, do a "list conf board 1v1" and see what's on it. Could there be a set or a trunk or a music source or a paging system on it?

Well, you got something on port 2.

List station port 8v4

List your analog trunks and check em
Check announcements that you don't have some radio station plugged on to the port for hold music etc.

Command: display port 8v402

I removed the MOH from music source in the tenant assigned, from there we were able to remove the media gateway without any issue.
