Must hit line buton to answer in middle of ring cycle

I have a customer with a CICS 5.1 that I relocated to a new location. Since then, when a call comes in on their Line 1, if you pickup from any of the handsets when the initial ring starts- or after the ring completed, everything is the way it should be.

If you catch the call through the middle of the ring cycle- you must press the line button for the call to be answered.

I cannot duplicate this problem with my buttset.
I have switched ports- problem follows line.
I have switched card slots & ports-problem follows line.
I have changed out the CI card with a LSDS ( to play with the CO settings) to no avail.

Any clues???Going nuts on this one.

If I read your post correctly, it happens on the same line no matter where you port it in the system. If that’s the case, I would assume that the problem is coming from the CO. I would check the voltage of the CO (especially in reference to the other lines that are working.) If you find a difference, I would alert the telco. You may also want to try changing the loss pkg, just to see if it makes a difference. It does sound like a voltage problem though, especially since you can pick up during the ring cycle.
 
I'll try metering. I did not have time for that previously. But it freaks me out that it should have enough since I can grab it immediately.

I did try the loss package- theat's why I put in a LSDS to play with.
