Music problems! sounds and stopping

Hi hope some one can help with these two problems
I've created a small swf file (20pix x 20 pix) that when the main page is loaded it the loads another swf that plays the music for the web site using the

loadMovieNum ("sound.swf", 1)
loads the sound.swf (plays the music)

The problems I'm having is when a user goes to another page the music carries on playing which I want but if the user click back to the home page another sound.swf file is loaded and so you have both playing over each other.

The second problem I'm getting is the music clip has been edited so it can be looped but as it loops it clips the sound / make a slight noise (simlar to you get as a mobile is about to ring by your PC)I've editited to death in the music package an it seem ok until I get it into Flash any ideas on how to stop it? so I get a seemless loop.

try putting a stop.allSounds on the button of the pages that link back to the home page,

and for themusic see if importing the loop as a wav. file then exporting as a mp3. works i had the same problem withmusic a while back and read about this little trick
