I am running IP Office 1.3 and am trying to get internal music on hold. I followed all the directions - file type, size, etc - copied it into the working directory for Manager, opened TFTP log to watch, sent a reboot to the switch, it showed the reboot happening but it didnt show the file being loaded.
Any suggestions?

Do not bother with internal MOH, even when it does operate if you need to reboot a system remotley it will not reload.

It also takes up CFG space. it is much easier to connect a cheap CD alkman to the MOH input (burn your wave to an audio CD)

You will need to have the IP Office manager program open at all time. This will act as your TFTP server for the MOH.

I have found if you have other devices thats uses TFTP, ie Cisco, and WiFi access point, these may interfer with loading of the internal MOH

Make sure the Preferences of the IPO Manager is set to broadcast as Manager will only act as a TFTP Server when Preferences set to 255.255.255.255. Also, check the IP Address of the TFTP Server in the System tab of the Manager app. Also, you need to ensure the .wav file is called holdmusic.wav and is saved in the Working Directory. If you are still experiencing problems then try disconnecting the customers network and then reboot the IPO. This has caused problems for me in the past but it has always worked. Try using the example .wav file on the VM Pro CD.
