Music On Hold

I have a client who wants to add Music on Hold and Music through the handsets to their Avaya phone system.

Can they simply plug an output into the MOH input on the switch to obtain this?

Is there a feature code to have the musci play through the handset?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi totaletech,
There is an RCA jack on the front of the ACS between the co and station jacks marked MOH. You may have to trim the plastic back on some RCA connectors so the plug fully seats.
There is a software volume setting in system programming (#614, 1-7). The music will play through the speaker on the phone and auto-mute when the phone rings or gets a page.
