I have a problem on at least two sites where after loading a music on hold file the system started rebooting spontaniously during the day.

after disabling the music on hold for the entire system, the rebooting stopped. any ideas if there is an issue with this?

using a 3300 running 7.1 UR1 and 7.1 UR2

thanks in advance

no, they're different. loaded from different PC's onto 3300 in both cases

8bit, mono, 8Khz u-law ( I think, could be a-law).wav file type

the 3300 actually allows me to upload the file succesfully

Hi,

Do you have a specific log message at the time the system rebbots ?

Now, it's about French users too !!!

No, I don't see anything that would indicate why it's rebooting.

I'll probably just log a call with support and see what they come up with.

thanks anyway for the help

Could you try to check if it reboots when you put on hold a call or not ?

Regards

didn't think of that. will try that but can only do in a day or so.

have disabled moh for now and it seems to have 'cured' the problem.

I think I have a thought on this.

Is it possible you have background music enabled on IP Sets?

If so it can cause instability on the system once half of your E2T resources are consumed.

Music over the speaker of the set when Idle.

Cos Option - Multiline Set Music.

I came across a note way back when about Music over the speaker consuming E2T resources.

I cannot find it again so it may have been adjusted but it would still be worth checking on your system.
