Is there a way to adjust it? We got a couple of tracks that we put on there from CD, and they're loud!! it's ok till some dude starts playin a sax or something and it almost hurts your ear!!! AAAH!!! I can't believe there isn't an adjustment for it in CM.. or is there?

YOu have to retranslate the music source file, also in the MOH translator setup there is a level adjustment at the bottom, make sure you go to the advanced settings as well.

I usually do -20 to -18db

Retranslate - like rerecord it into the system or what?

I'm using call manager 3.3 and I don't see anything for translating..so of course I can't find the level adjustment at the bottom..

you have to put the source files back into the MOHTranslator directory... then it'll do it automatically

It seems like no matter what I do the music sounds horrible!!

When I call from phone to phone inside the building and then listen to it, it sounds fine.. but when I call from outside of the here, the music sounds louder than hell and when kenny g (ha ha) starts hittin the high notes it's just to damn loud and it squelches!!

I've tryed a couple of different tunes now, same thing with all of them.. could my translator be screwed??

I probably should of added to that, that I've went down to -15db's on there.. doesn't seem to make a difference on the output..
